2023 RRP THROUGHBRED MAKEOVER

”Murphy“ is GGSH 2023 entry into the RRP Thoroughbred Makeover!

He is a 4 yr old OTTB (off the track Throughbred).   He is by Old Forester and out of the mare Bear’s Kitty Kitty.  Of note is that his 3x great grandfathers are non other than Northern Danger AND SECRETARIAT!!!!!!! 2 of my all time favorites!!!!  I have had relatives of Secretariat in my past life and they have been amazing dressage horses.  We are super excited for this journey!

 Jen had the crazy idea to enter the 2023 RRP and find a horse to enter with all while moving the farm from NC to VA while her hubby is deployed.  “Why not?” 🤪. Jen found Murphy and fell in love instantly with his incredibly athletic movement and natural balance!  Join us on this journey to RRP!  Check back frequently as we add pictures, video and other entries as his re training progresses.  Murphy will be available to a new home after he Makeover event in Oct of 2023.
